The Iowa Project was for Hallet Materials, who is part of Old Castle Materials. They had us come in and dig an area that they dug down with an excavator to 15 ft of depth and we took it down to clay at around 42 ft of depth, we are also swinging over an area previously mind by a dragline to clean up any leftover material. We are pushing away with our dozer and built a 100,000 stockpile.
This project in Tomah, WI was for Habelman Brothers Cranberry Farm. We spanned their reservoir that was 1500 ft across and 5 ft deep. We dug their reservoir to a depth of 20 ft, so that the reservoir had enough depth, so that with ice on the reservoir there was enough water volume for their pumps to be able to run in the spring.
This is a Skyline Dredge in Spring Valley WI. This dredge is digging at 46′ deep until he hits sandstone. The bucket pulls up 12 yds at a time for a cranberry marsh in Tomah, WI.
